Activity Schedules & Signup

Please stay home if you are feeling unwell. Before entering the facility, staff and participants must use the self-screening tool. Members and staff are not allowed entry if they present with COVID-19 symptoms.

Members no longer need to pre-book activities, except for Climbing, Cricket, Tennis, Table Tennis, Squash, Racquetball, Max Bell Track, Rec Skate, Stick and Puck, and UM Community Hockey. Please call customer service at 204-474-6100 to reserve your space for those specific activities. Climbing can be booked here. For cricket, please email krm.facilityrentals@umanitoba.ca. Reservations may be made for today, tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow. All schedules listed below are for member reference only.

10 Pass holders must call customer service at 204-474-6100 to book same day visits or can self-book online for visits tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

Please note: masks are required indoors at all times, but may be removed when participants are engaged in physical activity and while in their individual workout spaces in UM sport and recreation facilities. Movement in and between equipment/activities will require masking at all times. If you begin to feel unwell before your scheduled visit, please call our customer service team at 204-474-6100 to cancel.

The Active Living Centre is currently open 7 days a week, 6 am - 10 pm Monday through Friday, and 8 am - 8 pm Saturday and Sunday. 10 Pass holders must book their visit to gain access.

Joe Doupe Rec Centre 10 Pass Holder Signup - Click Here


The Joe Doupe Recreation centre is now open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 10 Pass holders must book their visit to gain access.

Joyce Fromson Pool Rec Swim Schedule


Recreation swim is now available.

Badminton & Pickleball Schedule


Badminton and Pickleball courts are available in the gyms located in the Frank Kennedy Centre.

Basketball Schedule


Basketball is available in the gyms of the Frank Kennedy Centre.

Circuit Studio Non-Binary/Transgender/Ally Schedule


Located on the third floor of the Frank Kennedy Centre.

Circuit Studio Open Use Schedule

Circuit Studio Women Only Schedule


Located on the third floor of the Frank Kennedy Centre.

Cricket Schedule


Drop in cricket at Max Bell Centre. Use of hard cricket balls prohibited indoors.

Max Bell Track Schedule


Located in the James Daly Fieldhouse of the Max Bell Centre, up to six track lanes are available to book.

Open Gym Schedule


Drop in gym time for badminton, basketball, pickleball, volleyball. Space available on a first come, first served basis.

Pickleball Schedule


Pickleball courts are available in the gyms located in the Frank Kennedy Centre.

Racquetball & Walleyball Schedule


Five racquetball/walleyball courts are available on the third floor of the Frank Kennedy Centre.

Rec Skate Schedule


The Wayne Flemming Arena, located in the Max Bell Centre, can accomodate 18 visitors for Rec Skate.

Squash Schedule


Two squash courts are available on the third floor of the Frank Kennedy Centre.

Stick and Puck Schedule (Helmets Mandatory)


The Wayne Flemming Arena, located in the Max Bell Centre, can accomodate 18 visitors for Stick and Puck.

Table Tennis Schedule


One table tennis table is available in FK307 (squash court 5).

Tennis Schedule


Located in the James Daly Fieldhouse of the Max Bell Centre, up to three tennis courts are available to book.

UM Community Hockey Schedule (Full Equipment Required)


Join UM staff in a casually organized game of hockey on your lunch break. All are welcome, full equipment including helmets is required.

Volleyball Drop-In Schedule


Volleyball courts are available in the Frank Kennedy Centre gymnasiums.
