Wall Climbing II - Ages 8-11 - Saturdays

Take your climbing adventure to new heights on the 1,500 square-foot climbing wall located in the Active Living Centre. Standing 40 feet high and stretching 50 feet long, this impressive climbing wall provides an exciting challenge for climbers of all skill levels.

Program Focus

In a fun, supportive, and supervised environment, participants will develop essential climbing skills and knowledge, including:

• Safety procedures
• Knot-tying techniques
• Bouldering fundamentals
• Climbing communication
• Basic climbing techniques

What to Expect

Under the guidance of trained leaders, climbers will build confidence, develop new skills, and work through a variety of climbing challenges appropriate for their age and experience level.
