Group Fitness Schedule


We offer a variety of daily group fitness classes for from low to high intensity, muscle to cardio, interval to continuous, flexibility to strength and combinations of each.

UM Recreation Services offers a variety of programs and activities (martial arts, dance, recreation and more) which are sure to challenge you both mentally and physically.

Our age and developmentally appropriate approach to programming helps to unlock potential and introduce children and young athletes to a world of possibilities.

Swimming Lessons & Aquatic Programs


We offer a variety of swimming programs from group learn to swim and private/semi-private lessons for all ages, Junior Bisons competitive and master swim clubs, as well as lifesaving training.

Climbing


Our 35-foot climbing wall has varying levels of difficulty with seven ropes and four auto-belays. Climbing is an excellent way to challenge yourself mentally, get a full-body workout and develop flexibility.

Intramural Sports & Clubs

Personal Training and Nutrition


Personal Training with Recreation Services is about finding the right FIT for you. From getting matched with the right certified personal trainer to an individualized plan created specifically for YOU – your needs, abilities, preferences and lifestyle.

Occupational testing assesses applicants to see if they are physically able to meet the demands of their potential position prior to employment.

Bison Sports


Help support Bison Sport and student athletes by participating in team fundraising events throughout the year.

First Aid and Basic Life Support Courses


We are pleased to offer CPR courses facilitated by Heart & Stroke and Canadian Red Cross certified instructors.
