Whether you are a new climber or just need a refresher, this course will teach you how top rope belay with a partner while mitigating and managing risk.
The primary focus is on the fundamentals of top rope climbing, such as basic climbing knots, belay techniques, use of equipment, risk management and communication. This course is taught by instructors who have certification through the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. All equipment will be provided at the course. Please bring a water bottle and clothing to be active in. Please note, this course requires two participants enrolled in order to run.
Please arrive the wall 5-10 min early to ensure class starts on time.
Requests to cancel must be received in writing a minimum of 10 days prior to the booking in order to obtain a refund. Cancellations received within 10 days of the booking will result in the forfeiture of the total amount.
