Intramural programs offer University of Manitoba students, faculty and staff the opportunity to participate in numbers sports and activities on a recreational level (Ice Hockey students only). We are committed to promoting an enhanced university experience through sport for all intramural participants by providing an opportunity students and staff to meet new people, be physically active and have fun.
A Rec Club is a registered, students-run organization that offers recreational and/or competitive opportunities in a sport, physical and/or adventure activity. Each Rec Club consists of a student executive team who are responsible for running the organization including coordinating and overseeing all club events, services and operations. Get in the game! The University of Manitoba offers 2 competitive, recreational leagues that are open to the public, students, staff and faculty. Hockey is offered in the fall and winter and Co-ed Outdoor Soccer in the summer months. UMleagues are open to anyone and strives to offer a great sport experience for the recreational athlete. Registration is accepted on a team basis only, however if you are looking to join a team we can connect individuals with teams looking for additional players.
